Prof. Dr. Nasir Uddin Ahmed is a well known name in the field of Cardiology Services in Bangladesh. In 1970 He was the first person in Bangladesh to receive an MS degree in Cardiovascular and Therapeutic Surgery. He has so far had about six including beating heart surgery bypass Has performed 1,000 open heart surgeries and 5,000 cossack heart surgeries. He is currently working as a full-time Chief Cardiac Surgeon at Universal Cardiac Hospital in the capital.
